Posted by evieinnz @evieinnz, Nov 23, 2023

Does anyone have any advice please. Thanks.

I’ve never heard of that . I’ll have to Google it .
Is it painful ?
You need to go find a new Gastroenterologist if they didn’t give you a treatment plan for it . Or just search internet for info if no one responds on here .
I have so many digestive disorders last 10 years. It’s so hard to lead a normal life . Sorry 😢 for you . 🥺

I had GERDS so heartburn/reflux was extreme. Couldn’t eat for some weeks. So had the Endoscopy and found the Watermelon stomach. Yes at times I feel nauseous and the pain is odd- maybe that’s when it’s bleeding??? But polyps in the gut worry me a lot. Makes me wonder what I’m in for 😟. I’ve had digestive issues for 40 years. Been a struggle. I’m trying all sorts of natural ways now. Hope I have some success. Thankyou for your support!! Good luck.

No dark chocolate
No fried foods
No spicy foods
No carbonated drinks
Absolutely no alcohol
Basically the more boring the better outcome.
YMMV

I am not a Doctor so the following is for information only. Check with your Doctor.

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs): These include over-the-counter pain relievers like aspirin, ibuprofen, and naproxen. They can irritate the stomach lining and increase the risk of bleeding.

Corticosteroids: These medications, which are often used to treat inflammation, can also irritate the stomach lining and increase the risk of bleeding.

Anticoagulants: These medications, which are used to prevent blood clots, can increase the risk of bleeding from the stomach.

Antiplatelet drugs: These medications, which are used to prevent blood clots, can also increase the risk of bleeding from the stomach.
