Thanks for that info. Great news about your recovery! That’s awesome! Hope I can recover.

I just tested negative for celiac. I’ve had a lot of labs lately, as I’ve had multiple issues going on. Most labs are ok.

I’ve eliminated the culprit I think. I’ve been on Metamucil (orange flavored) for a year. Should have know that citric acid was bad. I’ve never had an acid issue before. They should warn people of it.

I’m treating constipation, so….hard to find plain, unflavored. Not easy. Either has sugar or aspartame. Ughhhh…

I’ve recently lost a lot of weight on purpose with a tight diet and exercise. So, I already have hardly anything in my diet except nutritious food. I’ll do whatever I have to get rid of this stuff.

The active ingredient in Metamucil is psillium husks, which can be added to foods and is much cheaper than using the brand. Some folk use ground flax seed as well. Both are high in insoluble and soluable fiber (take with lots of water).
