Thanks.
I have had 3 pain doctors. The one I have presently is great. He listens and is very pro active. But he has not been successful with my insurance.
I decided today, i will try to find a "patient's advocate" within the health insurance.
@2jalapenos -- Does the state you live in have a patients advocate program? I did find a patient advocate organization website that may be helpful:

The problem I have, both on my small Android phone and my tablet, is that I have a hard time touching the precise spot for each letter, and sometimes I lose what I've written completely.
My wife has the same phone and swipes from one letter to the next, but I've never been able to master that. Have you tried that?
Jim
My phone that takes dictation cost $100.00 and it came with a $25.00 data program with no contract other than month to month $25.00/month.
@2jalapenos
Maybe AARP would have a helpful resource?
Jim
It's not necessarily the wrong group. I just understand what you were talking about. It sounds just awful. I take Amitriptyline and Lyrica, both to quiet over active nerves. Maybe those would help you.
That swipe thing doesn't work for me. I have numbness in my finger tips. Typing is really tough,(he said typing and correcting the same word three times). I do rely on predictive text on my Samsung III. You just have to watch what your saying. I have a Lenovo computer that I can operate with only my voice. I believe Windows 7 and above have this feature.
Hello my name is Lorenzo and I deal with it every day and sensitive to pills so go figure huh but hope you feel better
Hello @lorenzolarry, welcome to Connect and thank you for introducing yourself to the Chronic Pain group. If you don't mind sharing, what leads to your chronic pain? Mine is a rare genetic bleeding disorder that has led to end-stage arthritis, joint damage, and joint replacements.
Hello @2jalapenos, here is a discussion on trigeminal nueralgia, https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/trigeminal-neuralgia-2273cc/.
