Thanks for bringing this topic back to the light. I've tried the Keto diet 5 or 6 years ago and decided it wasn't for me. I do try to keep my carb intake on the lower side and focus on eating healthier fats. If you have heart issues I definitely think you should discuss it with your doctor/cardiologist before trying it. I hadn't thought about that until you posted and went searching for some newer studies and found this study from the American College of Cardiology.
