If you are able to switch to Medicare A&B and purchase a supplement, (F or G) do it now. I’m not sure of the rules, but you may now have trouble getting a supplement because of a pre-existing condition. The Advantage plans are run by private insurance companies and can do whatever they want as far as coverage and premiums, and their network of physicians can change year to year. Forget about their so called extras.
