My legs have been aching a lot. I’ve been thinking it was due to atrophy because of how inactive I’ve had to be due to LC. Now I’m thinking it might be a symptom of long Covid. It isn’t a sharp pain or cramps. Just bad muscle aches in my legs. Is anyone experiencing anything like this?

Yes but I had arthritis before COVID. I had COVID two times. It has made the arthritis 100 times worse. LDN has helped pain some. Find a good massage therapist 😆

Yes, Long Covid has left me with body aches, especially in my legs. I had varicose veins and spider veins, so Covid attacked that weak area of my body. My long Covid issues started in July 2022, exactly three weeks after testing positive for Covid. I went to USF to participate in their Long Covid Recovery Clinic. My functional integrative doc here had put me on NAC prior. USF doctor added Nattokinase/Serraptase supplement daily. I take two of each in the morning on an empty stomach. They actually give me some relief of the body aches I wake up with. I am seeing a nurse practitioner at a local Long Covid 19 Clinic. She was a huge answer to prayer. She did a referral to a local rheumatologist who ordered a plethora of blood tests. Based on my symptoms, confirmed by bloodwork results he diagnosed me with early rheumatoid arthritis. I had been taking 1,000 mg of Motrin, an ibuprofen and knew it wasn’t good for my stomach. But, I took 600 mg at breakfast, and generally took another 400 mg with dinner. Since seeing the rheumatologist, I no longer take Motrin. He put me on 10 mg of Prednisone. I took that dosage for a month. He recently started weaning me off slowly. I dropped to 9 mg this month, 8 next month etc.
Praying for wisdom and direction has been my saving Grace. God has closed doors to a rheumatologist who didn’t “treat my condition” to open the door to the most amazing rheumatologist. I thanked him two months ago for agreeing to see me and told him about the other doctor. He admitted that the doctors don’t know how to treat long Covid cause there’s “no pill” they can prescribe that fixes it. I told him I’m praying for wisdom for him and he smiled. At the second visit, I told him I “trusted” him, which is a good feeling on this health journey. Praying for healing and direction for all of us Long haulers as we seek to recover as much as we can prior to getting Covid.
