Anybody with Chronic pain should consider doing the Ketamine Therapy. That is where they put an IV in your arm. For me they recommended 4 hours sessions. The first 2 hours and the next day another 2 hour, but they doubled the dosage. I have had severe pain from neuropathy since 2008. I had this done about 2 weeks ago and the pain is considerably less. I am also taking trojans that is a compound with Ketamine in it. I think it is also helping. It is very expensive and insurance does not cover at this point because I think it is to new. Look it up.. I think it was worth it. I have been doing so much more since my treatments. Aggressively looking for a job and etc.

@mikween

Thanks for the information. I'm going to add it to my list of questions for my appointment with the neurologist next week.

Jim

@mikween and @jimhd I was at a Minnesota Neuropathy Association meeting earlier this year where they brought in a doctor who was/is involved with bringing medical cannabis into the state. He has one of only 2 compounding pharmacies in Minnesota, Mayo Clinic Rochester is the other one. One of his topics was using ketamine in a compound for external use for neuropathy pain treatments. He said they also mix THC and CBD into creams that you can apply to areas with pain.

Thank you, John, for pointing this out. I think I'll show your message to my neurologist next week and see what he thinks.
