I also forgot to mention that I use Salon Pas pain patches on those areas of pain in my feet, and they do provide some relief.

Thank you for the solutions you listed… I just started experiencing excruciating pain in my pinky toe… Throbbing intermittently at night and hurting with such intensity that I cry out. I was hoping it would go away, but it doesn’t sound like it will from the posts in this forum….
