Hi
I had my gallbladder bladder removed (laparoscopic cholecystectomy) 4 weeks ago. I repeated my Liver function tests (ALP and ALT) and they were elevated. Just would like to know if this is normal post gallbladder removal and how long usually does it take for the enzymes to go back to normal or should I be worried?

Singular elevated lab tests unless outrageously high may just be an anomaly and should be repeated. It is common for them to be elevated following GB surgery.
