Extreme arm swelling post shoulder surgery causing pain

5 days post shoulder replacement my arm remains extremely swollen. Blood is pooling in the elbow creases and my arm feels very Tight and painful. Can this be a normal occurrence? The swelling is causing more discomfort than the surgical site.

I had shoulder replacement surgery two years ago surgeon shorten my bicep shoulder is great but bicep has all kinds of pain fells like tendinitis anyone have same problem any solutions

My doctor had no answer have had the pain since the surgery, I went to Pt for over 3 months with no relief.
