@becsbuddy My dermatologist has prescribed Gabapentin 100mg. three times a day for the itching. I was told to start with just one capsule at night, since Gabapentin causes sleepiness and unsteadiness. If I feel okay I am to take one in the morning and one at night, then gradually go on to taking it three times a day.
I had no reactions with the first capsule at night, so I went ahead and took another in the morning. I think I will take the Gabapentin just twice a day, morning and night. Just the one capsule at night improved the itching considerably so I think twice a day will be enough. I will see if the itching stops completely in a few days.
