I have no balance issues just mucous in my sinuses and blocked Eustachian tubes which I believe contributes to the tinnitus it's terrible sometimes louder than other times. Hearing aids help mask the tinnitus but are a pain to wear all the time I have had tubes placed in my ears to try to help with sinus drainage which now I am getting out more mucous to the back of my throat I just don't see any help in how doctors are going to figure anything out with so many different weird symptoms. I continue with ENT visits, and I am in two long haul clinics with Cleveland clinic and Cincinnati medical center so far, no answers. I just live day to day and try to stay active but it's hard to do luckily, I was old enough to retire from my job because I cannot do what I once did.

Could be inflammation. ENTs do not know how to treat inflammation. I have been to 3 ENTs and the first did the turbinate reduction surgery (ten minute procedure done right in the office) with absolutely zero improvement. Hope we can figure this out? I wonder if Ivermectin would help. I'm really looking at all possibilities.

Hi i had covid August 2023 and now I too have tinnitus, sever sinusitis with blocked estachan tube, fluid in inner ear (which has subsided 5.5 mths later) with Vertigo occasionally and 1 ear drum that still doesn’t function ( doesn’t pop) I Have had ENT Appointment all they addressed is the sinusitis with nasal saline washes and steroid medication sprays to nose. Ear still hurts told me it will heal in time and Tinnitus issue was just dismissed. Had 2 x CT scans full hearing test with audiologist, last test said normal hearing which is incorrect. Just been dismissed completely. Tinnitus is horendious somedays unbearable. Sleep issues now which tends to make Tinnitus even worse. So now I’m trying Diazapam for 2 nights and stopping, I find the tinnitus has got quieter and at least get a few good nights sleep. However I don’t want to keep using diazepam due to addiction. I have read a few article on Melatonin 2 mg could also help with tinnitus and is not addictive Has anyone tried this??
