I just had a mastectomy for breast cancer and my endocrinologist who first prescribed Prolia for my osteoporosis told me that no I couldn’t be on a better drug for helping my osteoporosis at the same time as inhibiting the growth of breast cancer cells.
He also told me that Evenity is such a new drug that they don’t have any data on how safe it might be if taken beyond a year. Too bad since it enhances new bone growth.

Oh! Again! Such good news! As I have a history of cancer, one caught early enough to avoid chemo, just having surgery--but it came back twenty years later, so it had stayed in my system! So that is even better news Meomurian! Thank you for lightening my worry load a great deal. The newness of Evenity has been troublesome for me as well. Plus, some of the studies I have read indicate some increase in cardio events. But this particular correlate has been a mixed one with some reports denying any increase in heart issues. Always a bit of a toss of the dice. But my heart is lighter with your news. Thank you.
