I started Forteo 3 mths ago and have bad side affects

I have called my drs office and left messages on patient portal and still have not heard back. I haven't stopped the shots yet but can tell you that I am going to stop all bone shots of any kind after this experience. I don't trust that I won't have the same experience with any of the other shots and do not want to go through this anymore. I'm not sure why I haven't heard back as the nurse said she was marking it urgent......

This is so totally unacceptable , I can’t even find words!!! You should be demanding to speak to the dr. And start looking for another one immediately!! There’s no excuse for this, in my opinion on any level. I certainly hope you have provided all what’s going on so whomever , the nurse can’t say it didn’t sound urgent!!! Good luck and keep us posted!! Here’s to feeling better!!

Do complain about not hearing back and if possible change the Doctor. It is not acceptable to not hear back when you are having side effects.
