I have chosen ablation for a bone-on-bone osteoarthritis of my left knee due to an inability to tolerate general anesthetic and major surgery. The ablation procedure will be performed tomorrow. The pain specialist/ anesthesiologist has performed two genicular nerve blocks (required by Medicare?) to determine my likely positive response to the ablation procedure. I'm feeling very positive about the outcome. Thanks to all who have shared their experiences

I have bone on bone osteoarthritis in my right hip. Nobody has mentioned ablation - just hip replacement. I had spinal fusion surgery a month ago so I have to wait 5 months before hip surgery. I'm interested in knowing how the ablation goes.
