I am in the same situation right now, meniscus torn, arthritis and some cysts. I tried everything I could imagine would help from cold laser, Chinese herbs and lidocaine patches, different painkiller, oils…..
This simple medication combines pain killer and sleep aid does it for me. You might give it a try.
Additional I have a new brace what works great if I don’t walk much.

I've used KT tape for a long time. Look up "kt tape meniscus lateral" for directions. I have Percoset for nighttime sleep. I have a similar articulated brace, but I like the one that has stretchy material for the back of the knee. My knee is healthy, but I have issues with nerve and tendon pain. I had the testing injections for a "genticular nerve block" and it really helped. I am going for the real thing in a couple of weeks. My pain doctor suggested it after I've had years of doing what you have been doing.
