Prolia and Hair Loss

Three years ago, I wasn't on any prescription drugs and felt great. The only thing I would take is the occasional ibuprofen. Since then, I've been on up to three Rx's at a time--each prescribed by a different doctor. There are definitely known negative interactions. All three of the doctors, at some point expressed serious concerns about the other Rx's. I couldn't get any good and consistent medical advice, so I made a decision to stop two of the drugs. Like you, I can't say for certain what caused my hair loss. It may have been the combination. What I do know, is that, once Prolia was in the mix, the hair loss was not to be ignored.

Hi hopefulllibrarian, thank you for sharing your experiences. I was wondering about the three Rx's: by that do mean some combination of e.g. Evenity and e.g. Prolia? Or some other types? It would seem unlikely to be on two of the bone building meds at once.
I am sorry to hear Prolia caused your hair loss, or at least that correlation seems to be a strong connection. I will probably stick to my decision to go with Prolia and hope for the best.
