Cymbalta (duloxetene) was one of the few meds that did work for me a couple years back. However, sadly, it just stopped working. Was taking max dose (120 mg daily) and lost all effectiveness after 6 months. Had to taper off to stop taking, and withdrawal with "brain zaps" was unpleasant. Not horrific, but just unpleasant. For me, I think they tried all options until I was at the point of jumping off a bridge. For now, I am in one late day dose of Tramadol (helps but dose is too small) and gabapentin, which I cannot tolerate more than 900 mg every 24 hrs. Barely helps but I am living with it. I have mentioned in previous posts, there is a very effective a supplement I use, which if I didn't have, I would still probably be at the end of my rope.o But because WebMD does not understand it, they often come back with a rebuttal to my post when I mention that.

I don’t recall what very effective supplement you mentioned and can’t find where you mentioned it. Do you mind sharing again?
