@cjs71

I am scheduled for breast surgery in December to remove pre-cancerous tissue found in an MRI. Wondering what else I can learn. My pre-cancer is papilloma cells and radial scarring, smaller than 10 mm so it should not be a big excision to remove. I was diagnosed with blood disorder 2 years ago (essential thrombocytosis) and have dense breast tissue, so my hematologist (bless her) fought to get me in for MRI of breasts 6 months after 3-D mammogram. Mammogram did not show anything. My surgeon says it was "serendipitous" that the pre-cancer was found. Comments?

That's great that they found that. I hope all goes well with your surgery. Take care!!
