Good morning Mary, the mold receiver is the piece that is fitted to your ear exactly (which contains the receiver) as it was explained to me. My "store" fits the putty to my ear and sends it off and completes the HA when they arrive. How do you get your molds made by Westone? It might be something for me to consider if Phonak would do that for Pa. residents. Right now I am using the little rubber thingy which has a lot of feedback and quite annoying.

Ok…your receiver is inside the mold. Mine are just plain molds attached to my behind the ear aid by tubing. My last Audi ordered the mold for my right ear from Westone because I was always having problems with the ones Phonak made. Westone does a better job for me so I told my new Audi I only want new molds from Westone as the fit was perfect and the material soft and a light tint of pink.

Have your Audi or hearing aid dispenser call Westone to explain what you are looking for. If they agree then he or she would have to contact Phonak to issue the aid with the receiver or without the mold which would then be sent to Phonak.
Kind of round about but maybe both companies would be okay with that. Not sure what Westone would charge but maybe whoever calls can get an estimate . The last mold I got from them I think was $75….went up over a year or two.
