Does anyone find that a type of shoe helps your foot neuropathy?

Love my sketcher shoes and sandals, but it was just mentioned that custom orthotics don’t fit in them and I’m about to get one for my left foot. That will break my heart as I have at least 30 pairs!

@cls1 and all...I hope that's not true. I find them the best for my needs and they fit my feet well. Can actually walk pretty well on whatever foundation, too. I get the more cushioned ones with the lower top of the heel, so it doesn't cause a rub on my ankle. One I got was a tad too high in the back and bothered me, but now I know what to look for.
I have about 20...You've got me beat! But then, these days I don't go out so much so don't need more. I got a couple of new pairs recently on sale, to replace worn shoes.
I hope to stay out of orthotics.
