Please consider that not everyone "is a christian" while commenting. Posting quoted from one's religious texts might be enough to push non christian's away from this site - which would be a terrible shame.

The one thing in common across cultures and religions is the corps of educated, hardworking medical and scientific professionals. I am not one of these, but have seen - as all of you have - how intent, how caring and how hard working they are - all trying to make headway against this horrible disease.
