I am 4 years into my journey with MAC. It would have been a benefit if I had been told to get a baseline hearing test and baseline vision test. Look up the three drugs to see what you may experience - one is hearing loss and one is vision. I have had a slight vision but a huge hearing loss. Sad but we learn as we go. I am currently at the National Jewish Hospital in Denver CO (I live in FL) but NJH specializes in MAC and lung diseases. I was told that it is ‘highly’ possible/probable I have built up a resistance to the meds.
