Recently found out that my pancreatic cancer has spread to the peritoneal.. surgery is no longer an option...meet with med oncology dr tomorrow…basically I will be asking what will be the plan and what are the expected results. What will the plan feel like. What choices do I have as to how I want to live the time I have left. I realize that reactions to tx vary a great deal. I have been helped sssoooo much by your stories, your journeys…thank you…mike

Have you been in chemo treatment, previously?
I am not a medical professional, but if you have not been in chemo, you have a decision to make - and should make it with the input of a center of excellence team that can advise you.
The best outcome would be relocate to the center immediately - start chemo immediately - again, at the center of excellence. If there was a delay to getting into the center of excellence, then start chemo immediately in your area.
