Has anyone here been diagnosed with tenosynovitis?

fourj,

I had tenosynovitis in my wrist. It was called De Quervains tendonitis. It was excruciatingly painful. I was not able to use my hand at all and the pain never let up. I had tendon release surgery and the pain immediately went away. That was over 20 years ago. Recently I am having some similar pain but the pain comes and goes.

Are they considering doing a tendon release surgery for you?

I am sorry that you are going through that.

On Friday past the physiatrist gave me a ultrasound guided injection of I think lidocaine, anesthetic, and cortizone. The idea is to settle the tendon inflammation down. I also had a cortizone shot 2 weeks before by osteo surgeon. It didn't seem to do much for pain but at that point I didn't have a diagnosis.
My foot now feels more numbness and cold. Ugh.
