Welcome to Connect @momcatvw. It seems like your situation is somewhat typical except for the long wait for a visit with the endocrinologist. That is quite worrisome to me. Is the medical professional who is referring you a primary care physician, PCP? Since you have already been through recommended treatments without a positive diagnosis of improved bone it seems like there might be an alternative strategy. What if you requested a consultation with the endocrinologist? That is what I did and was admitted immediately. All the testing and documentation was current and available. There was no waiting for testing results or documentation updates.

And congratulations on doing the "right" thing with your exercise and menu selection.
I do have one question for you......and that is about Prolia. Forteo is a bone builder. Prolia is not. I couldn't discern the meaning of the Prolia mention with bone building.

May you be safe, protected, and free from inner and outer harm.
Chris

My endocrinologist said that many people make bone gains with Prolia as well, even though it isn’t technically a bone builder. Have you heard that too?

had 1 prolia shot had a severee reaction that has lasted very long yes it is not as painful as the shot leaves your system but i wonder if it ever reallyy leaves. my dr wants me to take eventity but another shot i am afraid i can not go tthru anymore pain i have had 2 compresion fractures while on prolia one 6 wks after shot and the other 2 12 months after stopping tymlos may be a good choice very confused don't know what to do but i can not have another fracture
