Maybe they'll prescribe Forteo--my favorite drug. https://ascopost.com/news/july-2020/teriparatide-for-medication-related-osteonecrosis-of-the-jaw/
It isn't just the teeth. Usually the teeth weaken when the jaw bone is affected. Because fosamax stays in your bones for a very long time, your jaw can't heal.
Best wishes

You are so right! We have too be very careful because our teeth weakens & a lot of women get cancer of the jaw which is the most common side effect of all Osteoporosis medications. It’s scary that these doctors feed us these medications knowing that jaw cancer is real! Your damned if you do, your damned if you don’t! What too do?

I am about to start Forteo in January. Thinking twice about it after reading how to use it.
- I travel quite a bit and I see it needs to be refrigerated. Not sure how this will work.
- the instructions for use seem complicated but I suppose you get used to it
- where do you get needles and how much are they?
Thank you for any feedback you may have on the practical side.
