Spinous Process Splitting Laminectomy

Does anyone know of a surgeon who does "spinous process splitting laminectomy"? This is a type of laminectomy which preserves the spinous process.

I am a cervical fusion patient and had my surgery at Mayo. Have you thought about coming to a place like this? Where did you read about the procedure? Have you had spine surgery before?
