Ok I just came from my Dr and he wants me to try 20mg Cymbalta every other day. Hopefully the extreme sweating will be les and manageable. I was originally using 30 mg Cymbalta a day. I was taking it at night. I'm going to try taking the 20 mg in the morning and see if the night sweats are less. I really hope this works. Back is killing me along with all the other constant pain of arthritis and multiple surgeries on hips, knees and shoulder. Please let me know if you have this same issue. The Cymbalta 30 mg was best pain medication I ever had prescribed but side effects were extreme

I totally agree....I tried 30mg of Cymbalta and while it made me feel amazing after taking it for 5 days I had no bowel movement and was miserable. I already take Amatiza for constipation issues and I can't deal with feeling miserable from the constipation it gave me. I even tried going to the 20mg daily and it did the same thing so I had to stop taking it as much as it helped the pain and arthritis I have. I can't take nsaids and so other than cortisone there's not much I think I can take since I can't take things like Cymbalta and Nsaids and Tylenol doesn't really cut it and I don't want to take any pain meds because they also constipate if taken too much. I wish you luck and keep us updated how the every other day works for you. I never tried taking it this way.

I also take cymbalta for pain and am up to 90mg/day, which I take in the morning. I was taking it at night and my Dr told me I should be taking it in the morning because it can interfere with sleep. I agree it is very effective for pain control.
