Hello. 56 female, 5.2 1/2 and 225 lbs. I'm 100 pounds heavier than when graduating H.S. Have lots of health issues related to weight, and doing the Sleeve Surgery. Any warnings or success stories would be appreciated

I had the Sleeve Gastrectomy in 2012 and lost 95 pounds. My blood sugars were "normal" within hours after the surgery. My advice is to make EXERCISE a habit and get the psychological help you need to change your relationship with food. Since losing the 95 pounds, I have gained back 40 pounds and will be getting the Roux-en-y gastric bypass in December. Over time, your stomach will stretch to accommodate larger portions, if you don't control portions. Please don't be afraid of food, just learn to eat "healthy!" Good luck on your weight loss journey!
