John - I almost always struggle walking barefoot; even at the pool I need a cushion on my feet to walk both inside the pool and out on the concrete deck for both balance and comfort. Yet on rare occasions my feet feel like they’re wrapped in bubble wrap and cushioned shoes are too much. Do you ever feel like you need to alternate between Skechers and zero drop shoes? I’m not sure how safe it would be for me to frequently change shoe styles, so just wondering if your feet ever oscillate between needing flat vs fluffy.

Hi Debbie, I struggled at first due to the lack of cushioning when walking on concrete but it's gotten easier the more I do it. I'm about 8 or so months into using zero drop shoes. You can use orthotic inserts in the shoes that have a little cushion and seem to help. I do keep an old pair of Sketchers slip-on shoes for inside the house but they have long since lost their cushy feeling 🙂
