Hi. I’m here for any encouragement offered. I had my RHR August 21 this year I am approximately eight weeks out. I guess I have a little pain when walking after I get up I’m not sleeping very well because I can’t toss and turn as I please. I still can’t sleep on my operated side. I’m going to start physical therapy next week, hopefully. Can anyone tell me when they started sleeping on their operated side and when the pain subsided? I’m hoping that the physical therapy will help me out some. I still can’t drive. Can people also, let me know when they could start driving again? I’m trying to stay uplifted, but it’s hard I’m young I’m only 55 and not being able to come and go as you please is very hard. I am not sure if I am rushing things or I’m behind. At any day, I feel it could go either way. thanks !

Hello
I had PT the week I got home from hospital
I would think you should have started PT at
Home by now
They can assess your progress and answer your questions
Do your exercises
It will help you get stronger
It will be a long time until you can sleep on that side because you are at risk for breaking that 90% rule
but if you put a pillow between your legs you can sleep on the other side
You are young and you will recover
Get that
PT scheduled soon
