Thyroid and Covid vaccine

Thyroid conditions alone are challenging enough to deal with. Having something like COVID makes it all the more difficult. There is still so much confusion regarding COVID and now there are many strains of it. Initially when vaccines became available it was under an “emergency use authorization”. Maybe they still are. There was a way of reporting issues potentially related to having received a vaccine. It was something called VAERS and could be done on paper, by phone and online. Have you talked to your provider about your concerns regarding COVID & vaccines in regard to your thyroid conditions?

After my thyroid levels started going down, I started researching Covid vaccine side effects. In 2021 I could only find one site that referenced Covid vaccine & thyroid. I showed it to my endocrinologist who at the time shrugged it off. Since I have to go in every 3 months, I just kept stating the same thing until she finally started putting it into my notes. I will look into reporting this to VAERS. Thanks for information.
