i'm 77, female, diagnosed with hypomania w/no depression many yrs. ago and that included insomnia treated with several rx to sleep, as well as having daily anxiety. after getting original covid in dec. 2020, all emotions were exacerbated and heightened and insomnia was horrible tho i'd catch up with naps during the day. i live in az where m/j is legal and the long haul symptoms i still have include meds that have opposite effect than what they were intended. i was advised at the m/j pharmacy that i should not take cbd that has any thc as that will activate me...i wanted the opposite effect of being calm. i now take healing resources brand of cbd/cbn/cbg gummies before taking my rx meds for bedtime. within 30 min. even 1/2 gummy makes me sleepy. my suggestion is if you try m/j, do it in a safe environment and start low. i have found these gummies to help more than the healing resources cbd only tincture.
Would you be willing to add the dose of edible that helps you with pain -- the THC, CBD and/or CBN content that works for you? I am getting started with medical marijuana for sleep and pain issues, but haven't found a dose that works for me for either issue. Maybe I'm not taking enough? Thanks.
