This is a great response. I would only add that, while inhaling cannabis can negatively impact lungs, it's a way to know what you're getting into, almost immediately. You're going to feel the effects of what you have smoked within minutes. So you can start very low, one hit, and increase as needed for desired effect. Edibles scare me. There is a delayed onset of effects, so you won't know how it will affect you for some time, could be 30 mins, could be 2 hours after you've consumed it. If it wasn't enough, you're out of luck for that time period, if it was too much, you're going to feel like you got hit by a truck. The effects of smoked weed only last an hour or two; with edibles it could be many hours, and if you've taken too much, that's going to be a tough few hours. I have had the experience of using an edible, it took a really long time to take effect, in fact I didn't think it would and then SLAM! I was basically a mute zombie for many hours, didn't think I'd ever come down. I'm sure if you have more experience with a particular strain at a particular strength it would be more predictable. I'll stick with one hit at a time.

To the OP, I'm not sure I understand your question about "recovery from MM." I certainly wouldn't use that particular product again.
