Thank you for your response. I really appreciate the feedback and
options. I wish I could use the neck stretching device (I'm drawing a
blank on the name of the device), I actually own one, but have been told I
can no longer use because I am fused from C2-T1, and could cause worse
damage due to all the cages, rods, screws etc.
Thanks again on the pillow recommendations.
Thank you for your reply, you are the 2nd person who has mentioned the
horseshoe pillow for relief. I will definitely look into it. Thanks again
for taking the time to respond to my post. I cant tell you how much a
simple gesture like that helps me make it through one more day
And if that does not work try the brand "My Pillow". I have degenerate disc disease in my neck from 2 whiplash auto accidents and I have spent a lot of money on different pillows. The "My Pillow" works great but the queen size works best. Also I sleep with a body pillow and another one on top or the body pillow to support my arms for my shoulder pain. I wish you luck. I also sleep with a horseshoe shaped pillow that is filled with flexible
stuffing (got it at Bed, Bath, and Beyond). That plus some physical
therapy and a neck stretching device that I use at home have helped my
cervical issues considerably. It was the physical therapist that
suggested getting the device after trying it in therapy. I also sleep
with a pillow between my legs for hip issues. All of that plus my CPAP
machine gives this almost 74-year-old a great night's sleep!
