Hello,

We're learning more & more about the impact of THC & Cannabis use every day. The question of the validity of the studies done pertaining to medical marijuana is complicated because marijuana has increasingly become more potent - especially medicinal. It's important we learn all we can about CBD vs THC interactions.

There is the quandary that the main components of marijuana, cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), may be working against each other at times. The short-term, acute effects of cannabis on blood pressure are well documented and understood. Immediately following the consumption of marijuana, there has been a noted spike in blood pressure and heart rate.

However, there is ever-evolving evidence that suggests the CBD element could reduce heart rate and blood pressure, lowering the risk for heart disease and strokes. On the other hand, THC – the chemical that produces euphoria – may raise the heart rate and blood pressure readings. These findings indicate cannabis formulas with a higher THC:CBD ratio may result in lasting higher blood pressure results.

Additionally, there are two other identified areas to consider. The way cannabis is consumed affects our health. We're finding that when cannabis is inhaled, one's physical health can be negatively impacted more than if an edible product is taken. Moreover, certain medications can interact with cannabis. If you take any prescription meds, over-the-counter meds or if you take in any non-traditional forms of meds, it would be a good idea to consult with a Dr or Pharmacist to ensure safe use & identify any potential contraindications or adverse effects.

*As with any medical condition, it is important to discuss health concerns & issues that arise with your doctor. Please note, any info shared is solely from my experiences & is not intended to diagnose or treat any health issues.

I hope you find an ideal balance where you are able to treat your ailments without creating any potential concerns in another aspect of your life. Sending you peace.

This is a great response. I would only add that, while inhaling cannabis can negatively impact lungs, it's a way to know what you're getting into, almost immediately. You're going to feel the effects of what you have smoked within minutes. So you can start very low, one hit, and increase as needed for desired effect. Edibles scare me. There is a delayed onset of effects, so you won't know how it will affect you for some time, could be 30 mins, could be 2 hours after you've consumed it. If it wasn't enough, you're out of luck for that time period, if it was too much, you're going to feel like you got hit by a truck. The effects of smoked weed only last an hour or two; with edibles it could be many hours, and if you've taken too much, that's going to be a tough few hours. I have had the experience of using an edible, it took a really long time to take effect, in fact I didn't think it would and then SLAM! I was basically a mute zombie for many hours, didn't think I'd ever come down. I'm sure if you have more experience with a particular strain at a particular strength it would be more predictable. I'll stick with one hit at a time.

To the OP, I'm not sure I understand your question about "recovery from MM." I certainly wouldn't use that particular product again.
