Hi @ch665296f, thank you for reaching out. You should ask your doctor about your surgery options directly, but have you voiced your concerns about the medications you've been prescribed to your urologist? In 2011, I had a prostate procedure known as HOLEP performed by Dr. Humphreys at Mayo in Phoenix and it has completely solved my prostate issues. I would recommend this procedure to anyone that is having enlarged prostate issues. Good luck!<br />
