Right foot suddenly feels like it's gone to sleep

My foot just suddenly starting feeling like its fallen asleep when touching it. It's not evident when walking just touching. There hasn't been any recent injury to it.
I am wondering if this is the start of neuropathy or maybe just a foot problem. I haven't seen a doctor (hard to find in my area)

If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it.

Hi @normaprice2003, There are many different reasons that your foot may feel numb to the touch. Here's some more information on the topic.

You mentioned it's hard to find a doctor in your area. Do you have any medical clinics close by where you could have them take a look? Do you have any other medical conditions that may cause foot related problems?

The only thing I've had happen before the numbness was dental surgery and then an allergice rash to the medication they gave me. I stopped all medication a week ago, the rash is gone but not the numbness.
I have been able to get into a medical clinic where I used to go. Unfortunatley here if you haven't previously been to a medical clinic they won't see you and most of our emergenct departments are closed due to no doctors. Closest one is 60 minutes away. I'm really hoping theres an easy answer because I watched my husband struggle with neuropathy for 6 years and it's horrible all the pain he went through before he passed. His was alchol but I'm not a drinker nor smoker.

@normaprice2003 - Norma - I'll jump in. I will assume you are not a diabetic. Perhaps you can see a podiatrist in your area, good place to start. It becomes a matter of ruling things out as you go. Good luck. Ed

Thank you Ed. No I'm not a diabetic but I will ask the doctor to see a Kinesiologist. Getting into a podiatrist would take months.
Yep it's ruling things out. Hopefully it gets better instead of worse. I haven't had any change in a week and it's not my whole foot just the right side and the heel

Well I made it to the doctor! Waste of time.
She said "Yep its related to nerves"
Maybe compressed somewhere in my body but without any pain in my back or leg she isn't able to put a finger on it. Might even be coming from my "TMJ jaw pain"
Live with it! It might get better but it might get worse.
Thank you Doctor! I already knew it was a nerve problem!
