I don’t know how to navigate this.
Im trying to figure out what’s safe for HIV and what’s not. I met a guy on an app who said he’s on prep and negative. I tested the waters by giving him a handjob for a short time. But later I realized that the hand I used is the same one I use to measure my blood sugar, and I had poked my finger a few hours earlier.
Safer sex info is so clear about some things but murky at the edges here. What counts as a “wound or break” in the skin? I don’t know how to navigate this anxiety.

@sillysquishmello, I can see where this situation could have you concerned. It may be worth a discussion with your doctor and to get tested. The CDC recommends "If you’re a sexually active gay or bisexual man, you may benefit from more frequent testing (every 3 to 6 months). "
You can read more about testing and transmission here: https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/basics/hiv-testing/getting-tested.html
But like you said, your exact situation is not discussed specifically. Best to ask a professional.
Thank you. I’m waiting to get testing but it’s been too soon. The anxiety is overwhelming
I can imagine. But, as you know worrying about things isn't going to change the results of test. Easy said than done to just banish the anxiety. I get it. Is there something that you do and enjoy doing that can keep you busy and your mind going down the "what if" path?
