I'm so sorry to hear of your pain. Conversely, I only had pain while in bed and as soon as I got up, my pain went away! It took months to diagnose because my case was so mild, with no inflammatory markers in my blood. I happen to be a dietitian and eat a whole foods, primarily plant-based, organic diet, high in anti-inflammatory foods. I rarely eat or drink dairy and my meat intake is limited to about 2 - 3 oz. per day. I also take turmeric (with black pepper) and omega-3 supplements daily. Omega-3 fatty acids are very hard to find in the standard American diet of mostly processed food. Hope this helps you.

Turmeric and black pepper are high in oxalates which cause a reaction in some of us including an inflammatory reaction and joint aches. Many of the "superfoods" are high in oxalates and/or lectins which cause health problems for some people.
