Recommendation against dry skin when on Tagrisso
My wife is currently on Tagrisso 80 mg and discovered that collagen powder (that you mix in liquid) works wonders against dry skin. Just thought I would share.
Have a wonderful day.

Thank you for sharing this. It took 3 years for anyone at Mayo to suggest anything but CeraVe or Vani Cream for treatment dry skin-. After 3 urs a wonderful hospital (!) nurse recommended Aquaphor. This works, too, but I’m guessing collagen is more beneficial. Again, thx!
Hope it helps you. It certainly did wonders for my wife.

1 ReactionOur bodies make collagen from a diet rich in amino acids from protein in fish, bone broth, & meat.
Thanks for this. Collagen also helps with nail splitting - as do biotin gummies.

2 ReactionsIs this recommendation for collagen to drink? What is recommended externally for extreme dry skin from Tagrisso?
Put in my recommendation, guess it didn't go through. Glacial Base Moisturizing Cream purchased at pharmacies or Costco works wonders.
@troubletwo
Correction: Glaxal Base (not Glacial). Sorry!

1 ReactionThe specialty pharmacy sends me Udderly Smooth, Extra Care , 20% Urea hand and body cream with every batch of Tagrisso. The Urea is what our skin is missing. Use it every time you wash your hands, take a shower, etc. It's a god send. Doesn't do much for the weak nails though. I just keep mine clipped very short.
I think you can get the lotion online, at walmart, etc. Some grocery stores and drug stores probably carry it as well.
