I heard that as well, that it’s just old age but that’s what most doctors were taught in med school. Some doctors are coming along and understanding that it’s not the same as just aging. There’s a reason that it doesn’t happen to everybody. In a lifetime, it’s about 25% of men and 12 to 15% of women. So if it was just old age, then everybody would get it. They believe it’s a combination of heredity and environmental factors. And those of us who have it, have it to different degrees. But we are all one group in the fact that we have it. And those of us who have it know that it’s not comfortable at all and it’s not what everybody else is going through as getting old. Most of us are in constant pain even with things that we employ to help our pain. So our job is to do what we can do to reduce our pain to a tolerable level. I asked all of you to determine what is best for you. My heart is with all of you , with this process of navigating this disease.❤️🩹
