Anyone been told the have diverticulosis with acute angulations?
I have been going to doctors for years due to constipation, I have tried everything otc, herbal, and holistic and they would work for a while.
Fiber bulks me up too much, miralax does not seem to work.
Any help or recommendations?

You definitely are not alone trying to manage constipation- it seems to be a much too common complaint.
I have dealt with it for years. Early on fiber and Miralax worked well, now I can’t handle fiber and Miralax doesn’t help me either.
Nowadays, laxatives have been the only meds that help. Many of our members praise Prunelax.
Recently, I have tried two prescriptions- Amitiza and Motegrity.
I have poor motility and Motegrity helps with that.
It is expensive, however, I have found it much more affordable at Canadian pharmacies. I even use their generic form and it works as well as the brand name.
Let’s hope you get some other responses from our members.

2 ReactionsNever heard of prunelax or motegrity.
Thank you for sharing! How would I get anything from canada?
Senecot Extra Strength plus stool softener has helped me. Reasonable and efficient. I get it on Amazon or local food store.
Hope you have had luck.

Online you can find lists of certified Canadian pharmacies and you can compare drug prices.
Prunelax is available in any drugstore.

1 ReactionPrune can cause gas and bloating. You can put some prune in a glass of water, let it soak and warm it up in the morning and drink the water. I have tried papaya. It is very good for constipation. Or mango. But, fresh papaya is the best.
