I couldn’t agree more with you. I was on a lot of vancomycin and it did have nasty side effects. It is ridiculous you have to be almost dead to get a FMT. Hard to believe we are in the US.

For me, it's not only the side effects but the long term effects I worry about. I am scheduled for fmt on Monday, March 25. Not looking forward to it as I asked my gastro doctor what happens if it doesn't work? His answer was, "we do it again"!
