Anyone developing their own cream with essential oils?

I use a combination of Young Living and Revive - I find them both to be good quality.
Also, proper storage is key. Mine bottled oils are in a closed, insulated case, and kept where the temperature stays between 50 and 80 degrees. I buy the grapeseed oil in quart bottles used for cooking, so they are always pretty fresh. I use it instead of olive oil, which can get funky very quickly or mineral which doesn't absorb well and leaves oil stains everywhere.

The blended oils have a shelf life of 30-90 days, so I don't make huge quantities.
This was a trial-and-error blend after we discovered that the anti-inflammatory roll-on was a little helpful, and a study of what might be nerve stimulating.
My blend: 6 drops of German Chamomile plus
12 drops each of:
Black Hills Spruce
Frankincense
Geranium
Helichrysum
Lavender
Peppermint
Vetiver (if I have it on hand)
I mix with an equal amount (by eye) of Organic Grapeseed Oil in a 30ml roll-on bottle. I don't see why it wouldn't work in a coconut oil or beeswax base.

Here are a few of the oils we tried and eliminated: black pepper, rosemary and cinnamon - over time they were too irritating for my husband's skin.

Thanks for sharing. I have to say that your number of drops is way beyond my threshold. I have very sensitive skin. I will continue to work on my essential oils. You have given me a new one or two to try. I always mix enough for 1-2 weeks because I also worry about self life.
