@misty51 Congratulations on being your own advocate! Yes, starting with your primary care physician this week for a frank discussion on what is happening is great. So is calling the nurse at MetLife to discussion preauthorization if needed for the procedure. I don’t think that going straight to hysteroscopy and perhaps D&C can be attributed to “just” your worries. I can see that you are going to speak up for yourself and getting a sort of proverbial pat on the head with limited advice isn’t going to work with you. I write this because I’ve been treated this way and it’s infuriating. Given the pain, in particular, that you continue to experience why wouldn’t it make sense to have a closer look with the procedure?

absolutely I will! I think my appointment is October 3 to see primary again.
