@sisyphus I am 86.. I play "Wordle" and the new game "Connections" each day from the NYTIMES.. today Wordle solved in 3.. It is fun to share solving the games with others.. but like any interaction you have to "give and take"... I live alone.. in my own house.. as a male, I have to cultivate friends as friends die.. but email groups.. I do not do Facebook for Political reasons.. they don't watch disinformation well enough.. but share success and mistakes with others is important .. today I was able to do all Connections categories.. that takes an active mind to wander through experiences to see Similarities... Connections.

Yes Deity...Stair...RIGHT. I always do it by the midnight as a treat, with a beer sometimes. But I don't take all the credit especially for "impressive" tho I don't mind basking a few seconds by a stranger's evaluation.
I 'hate' combinations cuz it's squatting the place where simple math quiz used to be,,,in six tries to solve with +, -, x and divide to get 'Genius' Another overkill as long as one knows! Now we have what requires to be familiar with American taste, not universal. Sent my vote to NYT. No luck yet...most are happy with it it seems!
I read mostly health and mental health, education, science. What amazes me the thrust of most comments is politicized as in the WSJ, in the opposite direction. No wonder polarization is having a day. Let's hope the democracy stays strong; the world needs it.
I'd love to exchange some opinion pieces in a friendly and open but curious state of mind. If you have friends to discuss you are Lucky. I'm trying everyday -- even some newer ways.
