Ca Supplement Counterindicated?
Looking at the after visit report from seeing an ENT today about cysts on tonsils, in red letters with a stop sign, I see that I am to cease taking my Ca/vitamin D supplement. Of course I saw this after office hours so hope I get a reply tomorrow to my message to confirm. Anyone experienced this before?

No, but very curious to hear what you find out!
The doctor had not ordered the change so it might have been due to an automated feature of the system. The after-visit summary now only mentions a change in medications, not what the change should be. The medications listed are what I have been taking. This is the second time the automated feature has caught me off guard. I am not a happy camper.

1 ReactionMystery solved. I had requested a correction to the supplement actually being taken by deleting the wrong one and adding the correct one. Only the deletion occured but it was flagged in red letters with the word STOP. I had to print the after visit summary to see this as the message no longer appeared on the on-line version.
