I did this so you could read some of the other members' experiences 5 months after their knee replacements and meet members like @aml01, @roxxxy2626, @continentalred and many others discussing their recovery and setbacks after knee replacement surgery.

@alexalee, how does you knee feel when you are walking? You mentioned pain when you flex and extend, but your range of motion is still good? How painful is it at rest or after activity?

Hi, & thank you. In response to your questions, I have pain in my knee with walking & standing, but it seems to be related to pain in my right SI joint, (same side as TKR), which I never experienced until after my surgery. My ROM is good, but my knee is very stiff, particularly with walking, which is difficult to do. I don't usually have pain at rest, I do have mild to moderate pain after activity, but it dooesn't last long.
